Research Projects

*

Research on Insulating property and its regularity of dielectrics in current transfer and energy dissipation

This project is funded by the National Key R&D Program of China and focuses on the electron transport and energy transfer modeling to untether the electrical breakdown and flashover mechanism of dielectrics.

Charge transport property in silicone rubber under harmonic aging

This project is funded by the Electric Power Research Institute of China and focuses on the deterioration process of cable and bush under high-order harmonics and high temperature.

Influence of molecular chain motion property in interfacial regions on dc breakdown property of polyethylene nanocomposites

This project investigated the coupling impact of space charge accumulation, transient arc microparticle bombardment, metal particle deposition on the flashover property of fracture insulating system in the process of dc arc switching, and revealed its influence regularity and failure mechanism. The study figured out the methods to suppress the space charge accumulation and metal particle deposition in the fracture insulating system and proposed approaches to resist electrical breakdown damage and aging based on nanocomposite modification tech.

Machine learning for the power grid load forecast

This projects is funded by the SGCC and it focuses on the power grid load forecast based on machine learning and deep learning, offering assistance for the decision making.

Research on the energy density promotion of the power capacitor

High energy density issue is essential for both electrical transportation and the power transmission. This project primarily focuses on the energy density promotion of the power capacitor to better adapt to the need of high voltage direct transmission.

Research on the lithium battery management system

This projects is funded by College Students’ Innovative Entrepreneurial Training Plan Program. It focuses on the design of the communication sensor of the battery system and electrode material.
